Hair Design

Having worked on Broadway productions Many Years, David has had the pleasure of working with all of the best Casts, Crews and Fellow Designers on Broadway. This production of Disney’s Beauty and The Beast for NetWorks is no exception. On  Broadway you have seen David’s work on : A Catered Affair (NYC , Old Globe), Rock’N’Roll (NYC), Coram Boy (NYC), Company 2007, Souvenir, All Shook Up (NYC, Tour), Anything Goes (Lincoln Center, National Tour), The Mystery of Edwin Drood, She Loves Me, Guys and Dolls (CLAIROL award for Out Standing Hair design on Broadway, National tour, Paper Mill Playhouse2004), Tommy (USA, Germany, London), How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The King and I(Broadway, National tour), Moliere Comedies, Night of The Iguana, On The Waterfront, Wait Until Dark, On The Town, Grease, Death of a Salesman (NYC Showtime & LA), Bells are Ringing, The New 42nd Street (NY, German ,US Tours), The Full Monty (Broadway  and Tours) Maurice Hines’s Guys and Dolls(tour), The Crucible (staring Liem Neeson and Laura Linney), Some Like it Hot starring Tony Curtis (Tour) and Dance of the Vampires(flop) .   On Off-Broadway and Tours his work has been seen in: Bounce (Goodman Theater, Kennedy Center), The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, Dinah Was, Twelfth Night & On The Town (in Central Park), and A Dybbuk (NYSF), Jeffrey and Picasso at the Lapin Agile (NYC and Tour). Chicago (2nd Tour), Elaborate Lives: the Legend of Aida (Alliance Theater), Bounce (Goodman Theatre, Kennedy Center), Mack and Mabel (Goodspeed Opera House). David also designed the hair for two seasons of Saturday Night Live (Emmy Nomination), and the Films; What Ever Happened to Baby Jane (ABC), The James Brady Story (HBO). David is the Winner of the 1994 outstanding achievement award from Theatrecrafts International for work on Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.  Thanks Paul Huntley, Bob Kelly, plus all who work so hard backstage nightly.
