Musical at Forum for five shows this weekend

The beloved Disney film, featuring the unlikely love story between Belle and Beast, comes to life on stage this week in Little Rock.

The musical Beauty and the Beast is like the weather in Arkansas -- if you don't like what's going on, wait a few minutes and everything will change.

Logan Denninghoff was happy to play a beast who turns into a prince or a dashing guy who ends up being a dolt.

Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" -- which comes to the WVU Creative Arts Center on Friday and Saturday -- has all the trappings of the classic fairy tales which have captivated children for ages. Yet, a deeper look at the play reveals a lesson which adults, as well as their kids, can appreciate, said cast member Michael Haller.

Emily Behny plays the beautiful but reluctant Belle, in the touring production of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast." The object of her frustration, and eventual affection -- the Beast -- is played by Dane Agostinis. The beloved tale comes to the Clay Center on Sunday for the close of the 2010-11 season of Broadway in Charleston.

When Logan Denninghoff was 16, he played the Beast in a summer theater production of “Beauty and the Beast.”

That's not any old fussy grandfather's clock come to life and dancing about the stage in "Beauty and the Beast," which starts Tuesday at the DuPont Theatre.

Michael Haller has been on tour with Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” for just more than a month and he’s loving it.
